Please let at least one hatch!!!

Day 19 and the humidity is up. I read a blog that said DO NOT open the incubator after day 18. That is all well and good but how am I supposed to turn Fee and Geordie's egg? Man Alive - I am feeling the stress!

Candled Fee and Geordie's egg last night and they are definitely fertile. At the moment they are being drowned in condensation and probably stuck to the side of their egg because no one is turning them.

The children are SO excited not sure what I will do if none of them hatch.

Mark, can you post chicks? Or would that be very wrong?

Apparently not!!!!!!

Will let you know

  1. Hi Alistair, important to keep turning those replacement eggs if only 3 times a day, just be quick about it when taking the lid off the incubator ..... what a nightmare!! day 20/21 very important to keep humidity as high as poss (75%-85%) for a successful hatch, this shouldn't effect the 2 replacements to much so don't wory about them they will be fine.
We don't post chicks but i am getting nervous as well and if all else fails I feel like driving up and delivering you some just to ease your stress levels but I reckon they are all going to hatch!! .... anyday soon .....
