so, turns out my chick is dead!!!According to Cleggy it was never alive in the first place. Have tried to understand how it all works but shutters are down.
(does this mean effectively that we've been looking after a chicken's period?)
Maybe it serves me right for not showing any interest - I have a new one arriving in the post so I'll try to show it I care! (when no one is around - natch)
Hoping that next time Alistair asks me to join him under the duvet to look at his new toy it's not to candle eggs.....
